TPW Coffee Shop

We are on a ski vacation near Okemo. I don’t ski (I’ve given it the good-ol’-college try multiple times, but that’s a story for another day). Neither do my daughter-in-law and one son-in-law. My youngest daughter (Kelly)—who introduced my other son-in-law to skiing—is 7 months pregnant and not skiing this year. So, the three gals went out antiquing and made a stop for coffee at TPW Coffee shop in Ludlow.

The previous day my DIL (her name is Caroline) and son (Alex) had gone out to find a coffee shop and stumbled upon this one, which shares the same building as a realtor. Rather random, but also rather unique. I’m a big fan of uniqueness. I had asked them to bring my home a small chai latte made with almond milk, which is my signature coffee/tea shop drink. It was delicious. Not too sugary, a very nice froth, and the chai was a spicier one than I’m used to getting but it was really just the right amount of spice. I’d have to rate it up there as one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever gotten at a coffee shop.

Today, Kelly and I ordered a large version of the chai latte. Caroline got a coffee. The barista first handed the large teas to Caroline. She handed them to us. They felt very light. We all thought so. My daughter opened hers and saw that the cup was mostly froth. The tea was about a third of the cup. I feel like I got the same amount of tea yesterday in the smaller cup. The froth was yummy, but I would have liked a bit more tea. If we go back—it was a good cuppa chai, after all—you can be sure I’ll ask them what’s up with that.
