I signed up for Groupon quite awhile ago, but the frequency of the emails was too much for me. Instead of unsubscribing, which I do for a lot of email lists I wind up on, I created a rule in my mailbox to put them in their own special folder – so I wouldn't miss a great deal.
That doesn't really work when you forget that you made that rule and about Groupon, altogether. But, occasionally, very occasionally, I check my email from my mobile device and catch a deal.
Or it catches me.
The deal I just saw – and bought – is for community acupuncture. If you don't know what that is, it's a way to do acupuncture more affordably, by getting treated in a group setting instead of individually. Supposedly this is the way they do it in China, according to the website.
I've never tried acupuncture, but somebody (can't remember, maybe one of you reading this post) suggested it to me for this GERD stuff.
So, coincidence that that groupon came up and that I actually saw it, or not?
I say not.
If you are local, here's the deal, in case it's not a coincidence that you are reading this.
