The Song in Your Heart

At the beginning of the year, when Andy and I went on a mini-ski vacation, we walked into a store and I saw this magnet:

listen to your song

And my eyes filled up with tears.

It was like this magnet was speaking words right to my soul. I bought it. It’s on my refrigerator.

Today, I stumbled across this video, via twitter:

I watched it. And my eyes filled up with tears. She’s talking about me.

Why is it that we can live our whole life singing the wrong song? Trying to fit into the world’s expectations of us when, really, we don’t.

I’m starting to hum my song. (This blog is one chorus.) I’m hoping it will get louder over time.

Won’t you start singing yours?
