2012 in pictures

So, I sat down to write a Christmas New Year’s letter, and really, I didn’t know where to begin. So I’ve decided to let pictures from this year tell a story. I spent my year blogging, so if you want to learn about the year, you can read some of my blog posts.

My parents wound up staying at my house for a month and a half while my dad got and recovered from surgery for a torn quad tendon. My mom’s black eye was the result of a face plant while tending to my dad. This was quite a story, this year. (My dad is recovering wonderfully back in Georgia, now. I almost didn’t post this picture because this is right before surgery and he was in such pain.)
Andy’s 4th cousin Tricia comes from Scotland for a visit with her sister-in-law Gina from Canada. Here the family is pouring over ancestry stuff. It was so great to meet them!

I wish you all a wonderful 2013! As Andy keeps saying, “it’s going to be a great year.” I hope it will be, for one and all, and that you all get to focus on what’s most important in your lives this year.
