Do the hussle!

Andy and I are taking dance lessons with a couple of friends. We have one lesson left, and will be signing up for another set of lessons, because we still have soooooo far to go.

Tonight, though, was the first time I felt like I was relaxing into the dancing. We were doing the hustle. And it was fun adding in spins. The dance instructors only reveal a few moves at a time, and then they’ll add another one and yay, you have something else to add into the mix.

At one point I said to Andy, I don’t think we need to do the basic step so much, we could do more spins. I am supposed to be the follower, though, in this dance stuff. And he let me know that by starting to spin me non-stop with a devilish look on his face and some comment about okay, if you want that, here it is.

The end of the song came after about only three of them, though, so I survived.

As the instructor said, dancing is like adult play time. And we are having fun!
